thank you for speaking up to your fellow authors! I've seen such thing happening too and it's disheartening to see them throwing artists under the bus considering cover design, illustration or not, is a pivotal part in the publishing industry (just look at The Great Gatsby cover for example). You would think that since authors are so often undervalued while their works are consumed by the masses, they would be the last group to happily accept AI. It's honestly kinda hard to believe. I'm glad there are more people talking about the issue :]
