I don't see what AI can possibly change here. Stuff that is cut early in the production process (so, the only place where ai placeholders have use) already takes miniscule effort. Nobody spends much time on storyboard frames.
This take is so divorced from the actual realities of production that I can't even begin to comprehend the reasoning behind it.
