@beepybopbap It depends on the budget. Some artists are just paid to do clean up or in-betweens. It's tedious work with very little pay. There are also the rotoscopers which are technically artists too.
So artists are not always doing quality creative stuff. We do a lot of grunt work too that I would gladly give to AI.
