Kids movies should not be AI generated. It's very sad that children's media is taken less seriously. If anything, it should be taken more seriously than adult media. It's the basis of their learning, and they don't have the agency to decide what media is good or bad for them. Every child should have high quality media to enjoy, with deliberate choices made to foster learning.
I'm neutral overall on AI. As long as it's blatantly advertised as AI, I don't care how it's used, as adults have full agency over what they want to support. But human made content will always be higher quality than AI art of the same level, and we should focus on that with media.
