There’s already hundreds of millions of users of ChatGPT and many other ai apps and technologies as well. Most major companies are breaking even atm
Even if some companies aren’t making profit immediately, the technology will improve and make a hyper abundance possible. They plan to invest trillions into AI within a few years , I don’t think they care about a few billion dollars when AI is a trillion dollar business.
You can automate ALL human jobs/work/cure all diseases/ have more intelligent systems than all of humanity combined…I’m pretty sure that’s profitable regardless of if it takes them 5-10 more years or even longer. Even intermediate checkpoints of ai improving and new technologies before then could make hundreds of billions of dollars.
Also think about all the humanoids they are making too, so many people will want cool robots 🤖 or whatever new technology that comes out, something like better than a cellphone is bound to come out too
