The entire AI thing has a huge problem with names used only for hiping it: first of all, *they're not even AIs* , since they don't have real "intelligence" nor "thought" or "will", they're called like this to appear more sci-fi, but they're LLMs, Large Language Models, machines created to recognize pattents and calculate responses. Also, they can't really create what we define art *not only* because they lack will and consciousness (which are mentioned in like 80% of art definitions with the ones that don't being really vague), but also because (and this is valid for *any* machine) *machines can't create* . These are *generators* , they *produce* images, don't create them. Basically, almost every term we hear about AIs on a daily basis just serves as hype fuel, and makes for other wrong definitions like "AI artists".
