Well.. let's say in the future there's a health service that can use AI and machine learning to identify which patient may be more likely to have a particular health issue in the future, and then notify them if they are. Let's say you can take a selfie and then the AI identifies signs that something might be wrong. This is possible and probably not that far off
Now let's take a look at just one simple example:
If you're a white Scandinavian like me living in the cold dark north then Vitamin D deficiency is already a potential issue. Even more so for the many people who live here with African and Middle-Eastern heritage. If the AI doesn not take skin color or race into consideration then it would most likely not be able to help those people.
It's just an example, but it's not as simple as it initially looks.
