@HarvardBob we can no longer trust traditional sources of evidence. Text, voice, images, video; all these can be replicated with AI, and they are edging towards becoming indistinguishable from human input.
All OpenAI has really done is enabled plagiarism and enabled idiots to produce works they would not have been able to produce on their own.
Even Sam Altman makes some grandiose claims on AI finding a cure for cancer which has zero basis on reality, because he knows that his products have caused far more harm than any good
