That's a fallacious argument.
First of all AI was not created to solve a problem or need. Nope. It was made just because. Art was easy, accessible and present everywhere already. Yep.
So it was not made either because there was no quality in arts. But because it's cheaper to have a machine doing it than real humans with human needs. You could be as good as AI or better, they will choose the machine, it doesn't ask for a rise, doesn't need to sleep or go on vacations.
Overproduction is the sickness of our economy.
