Actually, now that I think of it, ai functions the same way as an actual artist. Artists take inspiration from the world around them and art that they see. And most art, on the internet and off, is derivative from previous works. This includes other forms of media. You can look at Ai gathering data as gathering references, like artists do. Real artists study how light, shadows, perspective, etc work. Same as ai when it is fed data. The only clear difference is how
