Take your time. I too am a computer science major, btw.
You can start by using AI and fixing it to your exact vision, and eventually youll grow the desire to create your own, and leave the rush to create a product for other people's consumption.
What I'm offering is the joy of making your own art. Mine doesnt even look good nor marketable, and I use tools like zbrush, max, etc.
AI is good for initial sparks, and quick visuals for say scripts etc.
What I hear from the message was the person is disraught that they cannot make their own images to a certain level and it is dampening their spirit.
And I want them to be able to experience the joy of art making that is truly satisfying.
