@agentmerc exactly, even the most advanced AI right now has no real sentience. it's all data trained programming and "new ideas" emergent from that data training. if people actually start convincing themselves these computer programs are real people, the world is gonna be impossible to navigate properly. AI is just a tool to use for humanity's and our personal benefit, but some people are gonna start thinking it needs rights because it can be trained to cry and beg to be respected.
