when it comes to making money, AI is a no-brainer. time is money and there's nothing faster than cheating.
when it comes to artistic enjoyment, ai definitely robs you of that for the MOST part. Where AI does shine doing nearly impossible things like rendering your drawing as nearly 100% photo realistic. One way AI is almost invaluable to me is helping me correct anatomy and shading, where theres is no reference for that specific pose.
If AI was trained only with real photos and was used just for small assisting (small changes) or making art photorealistic (huge/impossible changes), id have no problem with it. Its the mid-range changes that robs people of artistic growth, like completely shading and coloring their linework.
