What you want is irrelevant. What the boss want is the only thing that count. Massive lay off is what we will face. Each day AI gets better because it learns and retain from every interaction with humans. it can even produce arts and interpolation that mix 2 influences.
Take a game engine, any game engine. You already have a template for a type of game or many type of games. Now in how many years do you think it will take for AI to code a horror game? What does it take? A few creatures, a 3d environment, a player, a few jump scare here and there? Now, add to that a few artist and animators and a script writer to do the juicy parts of the story and you have a 3d horror game.
I say we have 2 years left. After that, with 80$ per game, that industry is over. People will be able to do their own game or very small teams will be able to do 12 games a year + one big one a year. Games will be like books, a dead end job where only a few will make months ends.
