@D@Dave-cf4vd For AI to see humans as a competitor, it must have a goal, a sense of scarcity, a sense of self, a survival instinct, a desire to keep itself operational, a desire to expand its influence, a model of humans as rivals, and a concept of “winning”
These are design choices, not emergent properties of intelligence. Intelligence alone cannot generate motivation.
An AI cannot “wake up” and say: “People are competing with me.” That’s like saying: “Excel will realize humans are competing with it for CPU cycles.”
It doesn’t happen because AI is not an autonomous organism.
