@Ivory-f5b AI technically doesn't have to be incorporated into anything at all, but it has been, is, and will be. There is no getting around it.
There is no good argument for why AI should be integrated into medicine, science, academia, and every other industry/specialty, but not into art. AI is capable of causing scientists and doctors to lose their jobs too.
If you don't need 25 doctors on staff because one good doctor that is AI literate can get the job done of 5 doctors, then you only need 5 doctors now and 20 people lose jobs.
Art is not somehow more special or sacred than science. Artists don't deserve more consideration than everyone else. Everyone needs to adapt to the new paradigm, or they will be left behind.
Any legislation passed regarding AI needs to be figuring out how to help people live in a world where AI makes most menial tasks redundant, not trying to hold back or restrict AI. AI has the potential to usher in a post-capitalist society where no one ever needs to work, but can simply do what they like to do, and that is what legislation needs to be aiming for, otherwise AI will end up aimed at maximizing profits at the expense of people. But what profits can be had when no one has a job to earn money with anymore because humanoid robots are now manning every concierge desk, cash register, weed whacker and lawnmower? Or when AI can develop an entire report on anything in seconds. When entire videogames are made in seconds from a single prompt?
AI has simultaneous apocalyptic and utopian potential. Which manifests should be the focus. Fixating on keeping AI out of art is incredibly myopic, and frankly, just won't happen. So, I suggest everyone focus on the real problems and do their best to hop on and ride the train. I promise there are no breaks on it and it will run you over otherwise.
