You can always look for artists that take requests or for artists who‘ll do art trades if you wanna respect artists. If you don‘t sell AI I wouldn‘t really blame you too much. Even tho it supports the mass scale theft to some extent. But I do want you to think about this: Do you really can‘t afford the commission? Or is it about entitlement? I‘m not gonna accuse you of anything. But if you got the money, and you simply feel like the art isn‘t worthy of being payed for, that‘s just being entitled. Artists work is sadly generally undervalued and expected for for free a lot. Wich doesn‘t fly in any other creative sector or business, but ask yourself, if you don‘t wanna pay for let‘s say a waffle, would you just go ahead and steal it? Cause in a way, that is what is happening rn.
