"Creating value" and "helping others" are on the chopping block too. What we are looking at is a world where anything you can do, you only do for your own sake(if we are lucky enough to get some sort of basic subsistence), no matter what you choose to do you will be doing knowing that you are getting in the way, as a machine can do it better, faster, and cheaper. That will likely include social interactions, like caring for your parents or bringing up children/grandchildren. There will come a day where putting the kid in front of the tablet is the optimal choice, and you interacting with it directly would be an act of selfishness.
