@tommyshadow66 I honestly don't think we can keep continuing this cycle indefinitely, though. Dadaism has tried to "bring art back to the masses" and despite its influence on nepo art museums, it eventually waned away and now no one takes it seriously. Not to mention a decent part of the unironic AI Art movement from what I can tell is very derivative of post modern art in terms of philosophy (not the aesthetics), so there's that too. And even after we eventually got to tolerate photography and digital art, we still never got to treat those with the same kinds of standards as we do with traditional art, so there's *that* aswell.
