Yep. An LLM under the hood doesn't really know how to do anything. Its designed to predict the next thing and it can somewhat represent context in a abstract way to do so. But it can never truly understand context. Also for AI to innovate and write better code, there needs to be constant flow of better code out there. If anything we need more engineers to improve AI, not less.
