Maybe the AI will be for the rich that still have their jobs, and the rest of us will be living in a parallel system. Like don't the slums in some countries have their own economy. I remember in an old movie I watched about the Casbah(sp), it was portrayed in the movie like sort of a slum with is own economy within it's walls.
