I studied graphic design and became a Senior UX designer - 8 years now graduated from university. I shifted internally at one big company across different products teams and ended up being a data visualization export/analytics & reporting designer. The demand for my job is still there, it's just more niche. I've tested the latest AI tools on the market to help me, heck, even see if it can replace me, but it failed pretty hard and I use them sparringly now, I still have to do a lot of heavy lifting so my job isn't going anywhere.
