This makes no sense if you spend more than a few seconds thinking about it.
There is no reason AI should guarantee a world "devoid of authenticity and pushing boundaries". Yes, people that want it quick and dirty will use AI, but those are not the only ones using AI programss. There are some surprisingly original creations in the AI art world that I wouldn't have guessed it could do.
Art has changed before and it will change again, but there will always be people striving to innovate and be original. AI does not change that.
