@lynxivy Using your own argument, you can say that it was the "pretty paint" that made the art. People made the code, he used it to make the art, there for he is an artist just like someone who used "paint to make "art". I agree with Charlie, that AI art should not be compared to paintings, just like sculptures should not be compared to sketches. But it is art nonetheless, making the person who made it an "artist"
