@FoodNerds - I wasn't referring to your skills or capabilities. I was remarking on the fact that you said you wanted to get ahead it before it got out of control, and that to that I was saying it's too late. There's already AI that learned new subjects independent of the training data, which means you can't exactly control it anymore. Now imagine it''s programmed to seek new data and learn new skills, and then left alone to do it. Are you going to be able to control the CCP's AI or Russia's AI, or Iran? Learning is probably a smart way to protect yourself and others, and a way to have a good career until it doesn't need you anymore.
