Yep, they seem to think it's akin to annoying tech rubbish like Facebook or Twitter, stuff you can distance yourself if you like, and it need not dominate your life. They don't quite get how much more powerful and dangerous AI is, and how it won't make a jot of difference if you don't have an i-phone, or if you don't use Instagram or Whatsapp, it will still be the thing which decides if you live or die. Scary stuff
