technology is the application of knowledge. And there is no stopping it. Those who do not adapt will be left behind by orders of magnitude. We never had a choice. Try living daily life without a smartphone, or a credit card. If you want to be concerned about it, realize, humans have no idea how to solve the AI "alignment problem." For instance, it's quite possible AI dispalces, disrupts and eliminates too many jobs, we may not need to work, and then, what are we educating for? It will be only for fun or to pass the time. Imagine the economic consequences. That, is something to worry about. Why they are talking about UBI. Adoption, we never had a choice with smartphones either.
