Kinda late but there definitely is more push back, I see more "normies" object to AI art on places like Tiktok or Instagram than before and there was heavy pushback on a lot of 18+ sites like so much they had to start banning it and creating sites specifically for AI or in case of rule34 people found ways to block it out, and we all know nsfw art is just as big if not bigger and more profitable than normal art. The major complaint I've heard is that it's mass produced slop and that's not stopping anytime soon when the AI bros are actively pushing for AI because of "efficiency", "accessibility" and "cheap" so I think people just need to keep up the pressure and we can stand a chance
