@Laurențiu Vlăduț Manea it seems that the fact that the programs are non-human entities is really what the conflict boils down to, from what I can tell. A conflict of whether machine learning has the same inherent right to "look at" images the same way humans do, and if there's any valid way to actually stop it.
As for the proof that they have copied images, I would Iike to know more if you have a source, only because all of my research has shown that these are learning algorithms that create images based on pattern recognition. I know there are some AI apps that are meant to re-draw or create variations of images that you feed it. Is that what you mean?
