@MylesJoinsTheGame yea but people's livelihoods still would have been fucked back then. If you ran a horse shoeing business, or owned a newspaper. Those damned cars and that damned internet destroyed their businesses. Doesn't mean we shouldn't still progress. And about ai art: to me, it learns not so different from anyone else just learning to create and draw. It just has a different medium and format it draws in and inspiration it draws from. Everything copies and iterates on everything else, and trying to stop that is just futile.
