Even with controlled prices a UBI won't help you when the shelfs in the supermarkets are empty.
And businesses, which are only run by robots, do not benefit from the money of the consumers, when the only way to return it to the consumers is a 100% tax. Because when the consumers do not need to produce too and sell, those businesses will not get anything for the money. But it also means, that the money will pile up in those businesses and the consumers run out of money. The only way to return the money and keep the economy going is a 100% tax. But why should anybody run a business, when all he gets will be a UBI.
The only reasonable price tag on fully automated produced goods is $0. But this makes running a business pointless.
