PaulMosesification and to address jaywalking in a less pragmatic way, I’d like to ask you this: suppose a chainsaw killer is chasing you to the road and you have nowhere to run or hide. Your only option is to cross the road. Would you take your chances, or be a sweet sally and follow the law.
I know it isn’t the situation at hand, but keep in mind- this driverless car changes the entire situation. Even if you were jaywalking, the “driverless cars” should have proper sensors to prevent accidents.
