@Jon@JonathanLoganPDX 600 IQ AI with 500 PhDs of knowledge would be incredibly impressive, but that’s simply not what we have on our hands at the moment. Will that happen someday? Maybe, but maybe not. I do not think we’ll reach artificial general intelligence with LLMs at all, and I’m not the only one.
And many are saying that the pace of change has been slowing for a year now with AI. Each model is taking longer to release, and the difference from the last one is less and less.
About your friend, I’m not sure what to say about that. However, I am an attorney & I have yet to see anything similar to that. I’ve tried to use AI where I can actually, but I’ve learned that it (so far) simply can’t be trusted. The hallucinations are often very amusing, but they’re not getting better as new models are released. Not saying that AI won’t be a tremendous help eventually, but it’s just not ready for prime time yet.
