First off your not wasting your money, your paying for a beautiful product made by someone with care and your supporting them and their work. That’s like asking why people pay for medicine they need such as insulin or a heart disease etc when they have an immune system to solve the problem. Ai art is stealing, theft, taking what’s not theirs. It’s just plain wrong. Say you were an artist and you worked so hard on an art piece and you post it and it’s viral and ppl want prints or etc and wanna pay you money for art because they love it and someone else takes it to train ai and starts charging people for something they didn’t even make. They stole your art. AI steals jobs and art. It’s soul less. Using ai for “art” is lazy and disrespectful. If you want a drawing in a style learn it or commission it.
