Absolutely, and I have a great deal of respect for AI artists who are legitimately trying to do something interesting and different with AI.
I think the issue the vast majority of us “Anti AI” folks have is how it will be used by higher ups. A lot of us don’t mind random people using AI to visualise their own creative ideas, especially if they’ve already earned their stripes as a musician, but we do mind companies using AI simply because it is a cheaper, faster method than using humans. I would love to co-exist with AI if it wasn’t threatening to supplant so many of us who do not wish to use the technology.
