@kirillsleptsov1680 There are multiple aspects in your answer. I hope I understand you correctly. Ok, you can argue robots will at some point be able to build everything better. But there will be still people that like some things to build by humans because they will argue that there is soul in there, human energy, that they like the little imperfections. Of course that is not going to be sufficiant to sustain a living for many craftspeople. But if you look at the percentage of people that will loose jobs and have therefore no income, there is no getting around a basic income anyway. People are for sure not going to politely and quietly starve on the sidewalk. So either they are being provided for or you can be assured to get major civil unrests. The issue with people getting stuck in their phones is one that also needs to be adressed but it is one we already had before bots created better content. It´s like the new toy a kid uses exessivly but with a major difference in that through the dopamine hits it is very addictive. This is a much more complex topic and it´s not the only additction problem society is seeing. The question that doesn´t get asked enough is: Why are addictions ramping up so much? What is at the root? But like with many other things, instead of looking for the root cause and trying to adress that, we rather go to treat the symptoms. Why? Because it is much more profitable and like a junkie comes back to his dealer you have a long term customer. Addiction is used as a buisness model and it drives GDP. That is something that needs to be questioned and adressed. People are addicted to a many different things. A lot are addicted to all kinds of stuff. Not just drugs. Material things, money, power...
