@AkidaCoreGaming @AkidaCoreGaming there is copyright law, but I don't see it seriously applied, take Simon Stalenhag's work for example, his works inspired games like cyperpunk 2077 or Pacific Drive, yet no money was paid because it is only inspired, even though the inspiration could be seen as copying. You say they train their AI's on stolen art, as I see it, you cant steal art on the internet, only copy. Of course its somewhat illegal, but then again once a human sees something he creates a copy in his brain, even if it is copyrighted. So here it gets muddy, humans will be influenced by copyrighted work, they see on the internet, so I somewhat don't mind if is AI doing something similar, even if a download(copy) happens, if it does not produce copies of the original work in the end and only does things that count as "taking inspiration". But I can also see a world where we would go far harder on AI's and people copying/getting inspirated by art.
