AI is many tools, not one tool.
LLM chatbots are one type of AI tool which is getting a lot of hype at the moment, which very successfully makes mediocre look polished and professional, but still remains mediocre when you peel back the veneer.
Expect a flood of mediocre content (AI slop) across the internet as one of these early outcomes.
Other types of AI tools are far more valuable to humanity, but they are not getting the hype that LLM chatbots are getting.
