@AbsoluteEmperor_A-1 exactly. AI 'artists,' know exactly why what they're doing is wrong, so they compensate by trying to delude themselves into thinking what they're doing is equivalent to actual art as a coping mechanism. Or they're just stupid and/or narcissistic enough to genuinely think as much. The ones who know they're really just 'prompters' aren't worth bothering. They're typically just experimenting or trying to turn it into a side hustle, which I won't blame them for. Everyone's gotta eat.
