@rookd2067 I think "a starting point" is a pretty good description of how ChatGPT should be used, and can be used, in most jobs. I use it in software engineering pretty regularly. No, i dont let it write my actual code for me. Anybody that tried knows that this wont go well for anything non-trivial. However, it can quickly generate some prototyping code, or paste you something to start working with if you are too lazy to research how exactöy you would get something basic to work with in X framework with Y programming language. It can also be used to brainstorm some solutions, even tho the quality of feedback can vary a lot there. Needless to say, i would never suggest anybody who couldnt do these things themselves to use it that way. As any tool, it's meant to save time. It can do that. It cant do your job for you tho. Overreliance will lead to a hard wake up call.
