This is true, but the question is: How many of them will be needed?
People often compare industrial revolution to what is happening now. The horse was replaced by the cars in the past, but the amount of jobs created was huge.
Today is very different. It's automation to a level of cognitive replacement.
Take the warehouse automation for example, it doesn't create new jobs. Even the factories that produce the robots for these warehouses are highly automated.
The large scale production of goods at this level of automation is unprecedented and is different from industrial revolution.
