@Darhan62 Artists are not against ai. There's marvelous examples of ai being created everyday that doesn't depend on theft. And that's at the heart of why artists are upset. They are against ai companies that have stolen their work without their permission. They act like they have a right to obtain any data they want without paying for any of it. And this isn't just about art, this is just the first step, they want access to everyone's data that we've been generating over the last 30 years, they don't want to pay for it, and they want the profits of ai labor distributed among a few instead of to benefit mankind.
Why should a company like Getty images have to pay for all the artwork on their site, but these ai companies can scrape Getty images entire site and not get permission or pay for any of it?
