I mean, it *hasn't* been allowed to go to court. It was filed (you can't stop people from filing things) and the next thing that happened was Avianca filing a motion to dismiss (i.e. them saying there's nothing here even shaped like a legal claim.), then Mata's lawyers said "nuh-uh" and attached the chatGPT sources, but what idea do you think would stop a lawsuit like this before the point where the defendant says "there's literally nothing here, my dude"?
