I could just imagine the look on the guy's face that made that book, him sitting there smelling like farts and body odor, scratching his hairy butt as he writes his story. The story is then utilized as a source of power to control a population, not necessarily for bad, it did give people a lot of Hope and made people more kind. I'm not saying religion is bad but I'm not about to believe in a book made by a fat dude that was slightly sexist and racist. It's funny how God has the logic that of a human being from 2,000 years ago, as opposed to being a logical super being, it was a being that would kill willingly just to prove points. A type of behavior you would see in human beings, not hyper intelligence supreme beings that create atoms and galaxies. And then we have people that think they can speak for these gods, again, a being that is capable of creating three dimensions and space and time, is talking to some dude in a robe and telling him that he doesn't like that a human being chose to be with a guy, and then on the other side of the planet another guy in the same religion says it's okay. It's odd that the things God hates and likes are the exact same things that humans hate and like from back in the day, and as things evolve and change (something that older generations hate as younger generation adopt) people start to utilize things like religions to try and say that these new advances are wrong. Every new advance has the potential to harm humanity, so far we've been doing okay and all the predictions from religion of our own doom have failed. Artificial intelligence could be the biggest and best thing for humanity freeing up people's time so they could do what they wish to do. It could also be a very bad thing, causing massive amounts of deaths across the planet and economies to collapse. We don't know what the outcome is going to be, everyone's going to assume either it's going to be good or it's going to be bad and one of us is going to be right.
