Exactly. The issue is not automation. It’s as Bernie has said recently: the issue is the concentration of wealth at the expense of everyone else.
People could own this. People could develop this and share the benefits, finally having more time for their families and for creative pursuits. But without powerful enforcement, the wealthy are just going to keep taking the productivity gains for themselves.
