It's an inevitability. Our intelligence is all about spending the least amount of energy for the most amount of profit. That's why we're so successful compared to many other types of intelligence's. It was inevitable that a capitalist system would lead to this. Any band aids will just be temporary. We're supposed to automate everything and spend our time thinking and problem solving, not physically moving things between places like we're ants. Artificially keeping people doing ant jobs is a hyper waste of potential.
