many people seem to get caught up in the who did what to who, and rush to affirm their biases. but yes, the real problem here is the existence of deepfakes as a whole. they need some serious regulation or restriction, or even just better awareness, or they'll eventually wreak havoc on hundreds of thousands of human lives.
