What I can agree on in your argument is having AI technology that is NOT LLM models, generative AI or anything thats meant to replace a person
There is potential in having AI implemented in robots to aid PEOPLE in their jobs, not replace them (like computers themselves, they made jobs a whole lot easier and efficient but never replaced people, instead it opened a lot of job opportunities for programmers and allowed people to use them as tools in their jobs, like bookkeeping)
But other than that AI has absolutely no business being in the hands of the public as a replacement for a friend or psychologist or whoever. Not only is it…not qualified lmao but it lacks human experience and human evaluation, nuance and compassion
