Honestly, while AI is completely over hyped and nowhere as good as what tech bros would have us believe, there are still enough uses cases for it that the tech won't be going anywhere.
Since it's not likely to go anywhere, someone somewhere will end up having to deal with the magnitude of bullshit that exists because AI exists.
Given that there's no future where AI stops existing and someone's going to have to bear the cost of AI's existence, I'd much rather the people who voted for this madness be the ones on the receiving end of the price than the ones who didn't.
