You'll be happy to know that I for one 100% agree with you Creeporeper, I'm glad you said what you did here as someone had to. AI. is a tool, and there are countless REAL artists out there who work along side AI. be it for art, music, or film making. To reject any technology "tool" is a fool's errand, because progress marches on with, or without those who dislike, shun, reject, or hate it. There are those who hated the idea of cars, demanded people stick with horses.. Did that prevent cars from existing and being used in daily life by all? NO.. There are some who hated Video Games claiming it rots the minds of children, and may cause them to be violent, or act out.. Did that prevent Video Games from existing or being used in the world by countless people? NO... There are those who hated on the Internet itself, claiming it was of the Devil by religious types, or fear mongering from those who feared what it was able to do.. Today just about every household has a Computer in it with access to wifi, and ethernet connected internet. I could go on, and on.. Cell phones were hated, now everyone owns, and uses them.. so on and so forth.. AI. is the next step in this chain of progress.. No amount of crying, moaning, or attempted sabotage will prevent it's progress. It's here to stay... Regulations may come into play for some things which are now free public access, or have been misused. As with an y technology, AI. can be used for positive things, or negative as well. Such is the nature of humanity when it comes to technology as tools. I give it 5 to 10 years from now that nobody will be talking trash on AI. any longer as it will be part of the internet of things, and so widely used, and intergraded into society that people will look back on this time, and laugh at how people hated on it so much. The same way we look back and laugh at people fearing cars, trains, computers, video games, internet, cell phones.. AI. will be added to that list and the laughter will well warranted, & very much deserved. One must adapt with change, as progress waits for no one. To those who reject progress, refuse to adapt with the winds of change ever flowing, they will be doomed to the dust trails of that which was. The wise shall always acknowledge that the past is just memory, the future is yet to unfold like a dream made manifest, & what is most important is this moment of now. The now is all that exists. Right now this present moment is our gift. Nothing ever stays the same, adaptation is key. To those who learn to work along side AI., imagination is freed for expression in countless ways. A drawing on a paper has value, but in the future with AI., and holographic technology that drawing on the paper can come to life and you will be able to interact with it.. such is one of countless possibilities with this technology. It can't, and won't be prevented.. When something is, it is.. & shall remain.
